Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through Jetweb (jetweb.app), operated by Baduno GmbH. We are committed to fair and transparent refund practices in compliance with EU consumer protection law.
2. Free Plans — Try Before You Buy
All five Jetweb products (Image Optimizer, Translate, Backup Vault, Cookie Guard, and Live Chat) offer a free tier with no credit card required. We strongly encourage you to test our services on the free plan before purchasing a paid subscription. This ensures you can evaluate the features and compatibility with your needs at no risk.
3. EU Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and German law (BGB §355).
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day of the conclusion of the contract (the date of your subscription purchase).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by a clear statement (e.g., email to [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw. You may use the following information:

Important: If you request that the service begins immediately upon purchase (by actively using paid features), you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed. For ongoing subscription services, you may still withdraw within the 14-day period, but you may owe a proportional amount for the service already provided.
4. Refund Eligibility
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund is requested within 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal
- You have not consumed more than 10% of your plan's monthly usage limits
- This is your first refund request for this specific product
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for:
- A full refund if requested within 14 days of purchase (EU withdrawal right)
- A prorated refund if requested within 30 days of purchase (our additional goodwill policy — the refund amount is calculated based on unused full months remaining)
Automatic Renewals
Renewal charges are generally not eligible for refund, as we send a reminder email at least 7 days before each renewal date. If you do not wish to renew, cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Partial months or unused days within a billing period
- Early cancellation of an active subscription period (you retain access until the period ends)
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Services that have been substantially consumed or rendered (e.g., backups already performed, images already optimized)
- Repeated refund requests for the same product (second or subsequent requests)
- Subscriptions purchased with promotional codes or special discounts
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Include: your account email address, the product name, your subscription ID (found in your dashboard under Billing), and the reason for your refund request
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed via Stripe to your original payment method
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
7. Refund Processing
All refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your payment method:
- Credit Card — 5 to 10 business days
- SEPA Direct Debit — 10 to 14 business days
- Other payment methods — 5 to 14 business days
Refunds are issued in EUR. If your payment was made in a different currency, exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund are your responsibility and are not covered by us.
8. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Jetweb dashboard (Dashboard → Product → Subscription → Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you continue to have full access to paid features until then. No further charges will be made after cancellation. After your paid period ends, your account will automatically revert to the free plan. Your data is retained according to our data retention policy.
9. Service Credits
In some cases, we may offer service credits (Wallet balance) as an alternative to monetary refunds. Service credits:
- Can be used toward any Jetweb product subscription
- Do not expire
- Are not transferable to other accounts
- Cannot be converted to cash or withdrawn
10. Chargebacks
We kindly ask you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us will result in immediate suspension of your account and may incur additional administrative fees. We are committed to resolving billing disputes quickly and fairly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply only to purchases made after the effective date of the updated policy. Existing subscriptions remain subject to the Refund Policy that was in effect at the time of purchase. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before the effective date.
